python-backup2swift software package provides backup data to OpenStack Swift - python 2.x, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-backup2swift

python-backup2swift is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-backup2swift package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-backup2swift *
